Charlotte Pass is located in the Kosciuszko National Park where the tallest peak in Australia, Mount Kosciuszko is situated. The pass is located at the end of Kosciuszko Road where it meets Kangaroo Ridge. The Snowy River flows through the pass. Snow Gums Boardwalk leads to the main lookout from the car park

Napier is located in the Hawkes Bay region on the east coast of the North Island. The town is dotted with well maintained Art Deco architecture and nicely complimented by the beautifully restored vehicles of the Hawkes Bay Branch of the Vintage Car Club of NZ.

This town is the port for Christchurch and has a simple easy going charm to it.

Milford Sound runs 15 kilometres inland from the Tasman Sea at Dale Point. It is surrounded by sheer rock faces that rise 1,200 metres or more on either side. Milford Sound sports two permanent waterfalls, Lady Bowen Falls and Stirling Falls. After heavy rain temporary waterfalls can be seen running down the steep sided rock faces that line the fiord. They are fed by rain water drenched moss and will last a few days at most once the rain stops.
